Using past development pieces in todays workshop

I thought that my wax resist pieces would be useless in terms of putting my concept across, as I didn’t think they linked to my research in any way. However, I combined the wax resist pieces with todays oil pastel development piece to produce a visually engaging surface pattern, which now links to my concept. From this activity, I learnt that no development piece is ‘worthless’, as it can be taken into different workshops to develop further or used at a later stage. Throughout the FMP I aim to experiment with as many techniques as possible, to discover new and interesting ideas, which will feed into my final piece.
